I love Quidco GreenWhite

My name is Gary Robb, and I've been married to Karen since 1990.

I've worked in the banking sector and in industry, Karen was a music teacher, but in 1994 we left our home church (Bo'ness) and began training as a Salvation Army Officers at William Booth College in London.

Our appointments have been geographically widespread across the UK from the West Midlands (Malvern) through the Irish Sea (Douglas, Isle of Man) to Northern Ireland (Ballymena), and from West Scotland (Bellshill) to the East Midlands (Leicester South) and Suffolk (Stowmarket).

Whilst at Leicester I studied part-time for a BA (Hons) in Pastoral Care with Psychology, and graduated in October 2008. My dissertation was entitled "Burnt-out  or On-Fire? Are Salvation Army Officers emotionally exhausted or satisfied in ministry: A Pilot Study."  (See the link "Dissertation" toward the top of this page

Karen completed a Diploma in Management Studies.

Karen still serves as a Salvation Army Officer, based at the London North East Divisional Headquarters where she is the Director for Personnel, but in November 2010 I began work with Cruse Bereavement Care as their Area Support Manager, and now work as Business Support Manager for the West London Mission.
